Terms of Service

Last updated November 2, 2026

These terms govern use of CAS, the private Content Automation System operated for The Breakup Journal.

1. Authorized use

CAS may be used only by the operator and people the operator authorizes. You may connect, view, publish to, or moderate only accounts and content you own or are permitted to manage.

2. Service functions

CAS may synchronize content and analytics, prepare and render drafts, coordinate review, publish approved material, receive platform webhooks, organize comments or messages, and send authorized replies. Available functions depend on the connected platform and permissions granted.

3. Platform accounts

Platform access is governed by the relevant platform’s terms in addition to these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the authority to use connected accounts and for revoking access when it is no longer required. CAS does not guarantee that a platform will approve, retain, or continue any API permission.

4. Content and conduct

You retain responsibility for content you submit, publish, or send through CAS. Do not use CAS to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, platform rules, or another person’s authorization. Do not attempt to bypass review controls, forge webhook requests, extract credentials, or interfere with the service.

5. Privacy

CAS processes information as described in the Privacy Policy. Data-deletion requests are handled under the Data Deletion Instructions.

6. Availability and changes

CAS is provided on an as-available basis for private operations. Features may change or stop working when a platform changes its API, revokes access, limits a token, or experiences an outage. CAS may be changed, suspended, or discontinued without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAS is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Analytics may be delayed or incomplete because platform data can be delayed or withheld.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of platform access, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of CAS.
