You can revoke platform access immediately and request deletion of associated CAS records. Never include a password or access token in a deletion request.
Request deletion from CAS
- Email thebreakupjournalyvr@gmail.com with the subject “CAS data deletion request.”
- State the platform and username or Page name associated with the request, and describe whether you want a specific record removed or all associated CAS data deleted.
- Respond to any reasonable verification request so we can avoid deleting the wrong person’s or business’s records.
After verification, we will remove the applicable encrypted authorization tokens and associated account, comment, message, analytics, and workflow records that CAS controls, except information that must be retained for security, legal compliance, or backup integrity. Valid requests are ordinarily completed within 30 days. We will confirm completion by email.
Disconnect Facebook or Instagram
You can immediately stop future access by removing the relevant CAS app from Facebook or Instagram’s Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings. You can also disconnect the account inside CAS. Revoking access stops new API requests but does not automatically erase records previously imported into CAS; use the email process above to request their deletion.
Disconnect another platform
Remove CAS from the connected-app settings offered by that platform and disconnect the account inside CAS. Then use the deletion-request process above if you also want previously imported records removed.
Requests from commenters or message senders
If your public comment or message was received by an account managed through CAS, you may request deletion by identifying the platform, the professional account you contacted, your username, and the approximate date. Do not send additional sensitive information unless requested for verification.
